We are promised ‘True love’
By the people we meet
From the stories we read
How special we feel
Our hopes soar high
Our feet leaves the ground
Our wings starts flapping
And the magic spreads
It’s the ultimate happiness
It’s the heaven on Earth
Everything is perfect
Nothing is missing
Everything is tension free
And it changes..
Reality strikes
Chaos begins
Spreads like a chain reaction
Things go beyond our control
In the blink of an eye
Woah!
Perfect life turns upside down
Confusion and pain
And hurt reigns
We can’t see things clearly
Because our eyes are full of tears
And our heart is full of hurt
And this is how it feels
And this is how it turns out to be
When we are betrayed
Betrayed by OUR TRUE LOVE
But according to them
We may not be their true love
And hence the betrayal
Life is shaken
Post-chaos
Life is never the same
Still we survive
We smile
We try to find that
Earthly heaven in the imperfections
And this is how we live
We try to find the chunks
Of that painful true love
In the million little things
And one day we wake up to
No pain & no hard feelings
We have forgotten that true love
And we again start the search
For yet another true love..

  1. I sometimes doubt if there is something called as True Love?? I personally feel loving truly makes much more sense than searching for that one true love. Love can take different forms our mistake we have been brought up knowing a particular kind of true love. Its much more beyond that i assume.

  2. Sahi me bhai. You have expressed your feelings so well here. True love exists deep down in our hearts, and we always swim in the rivers of love and believe it as true. Thus when the course changes, we think we have found a new true love. but once we start drowning in the rivers of love, we can see the true and pure angle of love. Have a great day bhai. 🙂

True love always is immortal.after some depressions ,hurtness n frustration it is again blossomed in a new changed form i .e.autmn is come;can spring is far behind according to great poet Shelly.dis is heartless word n chages its mood as it like.but a beloved person as u r lucky coz u have a lot of love in ur heart.feeling dt is most valuable gift given by God.

    Love is either there or not there !

    Simple 😛

    Animals is awesome song. I like it. Especially the intensity.

    So just breath 😛
    Look around there is so much Love, in your terms True Love.

    Make choices on the basis of your gut and follow it.

    For a Love to capitalize into fruitful relationship, you must just be aware that in a relationship, there is a involvement of other person as well. So yeah, it can get complicated as projected by Bollywood.

    Keep it Simple.
    Be Clear.
    Life will be Good.

  7. Darshith, your poem flows so well from beginning to middle to end and back to the beginning. True love is hard to find but sometimes even harder to keep. You wrote about it so well 🙂 We can all relate to this on some level I’m sure. I like the song you chose too, it’s a good one to workout to 😛

  9. When TIME tested me, I realised that MONEY is my true love. When Money left me (my ignorance & indecision,) everyone LEFT me.
    I wish someday Money loves me back. I love Money.
