And if you can fulfill
Fulfill carefully

One thing I want to broadcast
And if you can digest
Digest carefully

And if you can tell
Tell carefully

One thing I want to achieve
And if you can help
Help carefully

One thing I want you to be assured
And if you are satisfied
Love me equally..

Colin, you fill me with enthusiasm by your comments 🙂 Loads of wishes & yeah I also feel sometimes that don’t be so naive and such but then again I guess it’s okay to fall for someone/something and live the time spent together upto the fullest 😀 back to being “incurable romantic” 😛

        • Oh yeah well said !! This CAREFUL word is gonna keep us nagging for quite many decades & centuries to come 😀 We can just hope that options or no options, the end result is favorable or at least bearable 😉

          • That CAREFULL word is very versatile. What does it mean? In the context of your poem it can mean the obvious (to me) – consider my feelings. It can also mean – consider your own feelings. Additional possible meanings – be sociably responsible; consider the broad impact on others; be thorough; don’t be reckless.

            Listen carefully because it is very important to me? Very important to you? Because it is sensitive information? Because I will only say it once?

            For anybody who has both the time, and the inclination, your writings pose far more questions than they do answers. I would suggest that is a good thing! Keep it up. 🙂

            • Wow I never knew that someone will find a simple poetry written by ME as if stuck in spider’s web and I will take that as a compliment 😉 but what I meant to convey was be careful in considering your own feelings for me and that’s there.. Now I think you can have a good night’s sleep 😀 but yeah that 1 word can mean a lot many no.of things in a generic sense 😉 the obvious one was the one which I meant myself 🙂 Thank you though !!

              • You’re welcome. While I find “challenging” poetry interesting generally because the precise meanings are unclear and therefore open to interpretation, I also enjoy literary creations which are perfectly clear in their intent, It would be interesting to read something in that genre sometime and, I think you will agree, versatility is a very good skill to have.

                • Yes will try to write something on that genre 😀 but yes sometimes I also find poem/writing which is not exactly clear and I bookmark it and read it over and over again to find its exact meaning 😀
