Love is overrated? I have to challenge that statement. On what scale are you rating it to make that conclusion? Perhaps love is under-rated, but your expectations were too high so you totally sabotaged any chance of love? Just some thoughts! 🙂

Yes it depends on the fact how your encounter with Love was in your life 😉 Expectations are the worst & it hurts when they are not met 😦 But, then again there always comes someone who makes you feel as in Heaven & then you come to know the true meaning of Love 🙂

Is it realistic to expect time with a partner to keep getting better every day?
Is it realistic to expect your sense of completeness to be better each day?
They are wonderful romantic sentiments but could start wearing a little thin after a year or two. How would you handle a plateau where nothing is improving? How would you handle a deterioration due to a change in your respective personal growth?
Again ………… wonderful romantic sentiments, but a little shaky when analyzed! 🙂

No of course it’s not realistic:) Yes some years of attachment in the beginning are Heaven and they will wear out & the baggage comes into picture and many other things clinging to the Love but may be somewhere deep in the heart reminiscing the old days & helping your partner with a small deed like getting a glass of water for them or massaging their forehead when in ache gives that feeling of completeness and then you can again feel good and loved for a while at least 😉 But, then again it all depends on the 2 individuals involved & their chemistry also 😀 Thank you Colin for making me see things from this angle also 😉
