Free Style writing – Part III – Innocence..

I have been nominated by Geethu ( She’s one of the best people here) to the free writing challenge.

Below are the rules for the task:

  1. Open an MS Word document
  2. Set a stop watch or your mobile to 5 minutes or 10 minutes whichever challenge you think you can beat.
  3. You topic is at the foot of this post BUT DO NOT SCROLL DOWN TO SEE IT UNTIL YOU ARE READY WITH A TIMER.
  4. Fill the word doc with as much words as you want. once you began writing do not stop even to turn.
  5. Do not cheat by going back and correcting spellings and grammar with spell check in MS WORD (it is only meant for you to reflect on your own control of sensible thought flow and for you to reflect on your ability to write the right spelling and stick to grammar rules)
  6. You may or may not pay attention to punctuation and capitals. However if you do, it would be best.
  7. At the end of your post write down ‘No. Of words =_____’ so that we would have an idea of how much you can write within the time frame.
  8. Do not forget to copy paste the entire passage on your blog post with a new Topic for your nominees and copy paste these rules with your nominations (at least 5 bloggers).

My word: Innocence

Innocence
Was not in his
mischievous activites
It was in his
Love for her
For which
He respected her
And she cared for him
It was in his
smiles
Whenever he got a glance
Of her
Even in photos
It was in his
words
Which he dedicated to her
Even if she
Wouldn’t read
And even if she did
She wouldn’t know
And even if she knew
She wouldn’t appreciate
And even if she appreciates
She wouldn’t reciprocate
And if she reciprocates
He will allow her
In his heart Innocently..

      • I usually don’t do challenges but one of the fellow blogger Aditi nominated me and I was writing a piece along the same line so I dedicated that poem to her challenge but I didn’t follow any rules. I don’t want my thoughts to be defeated by time or misinterpreted by words due to the time limit. I always believe to be free with all respect, hence these challenges were not quite my thing but then I don’t like to hurt people too and I most probably do when I ignore their awards or nominations for challenges (she is absolutely useless and rude — I hope they don’t think like that lol).
I might be able to write 500 words in my journal in 10 minutes that makes no sense at all but it comes from the heart. Hence, whether you write one word or ten words in ten minutes, if it comes from the heart — you have conquered your battle.

Okay, I am done lecturing you (such an annoying thing I am used to lol)

        • You don’t know I am very good listener 😛 and I read your whole comment with my left hand on my cheek with deep concentration 😀 Yeah, what you said is one way of seeing things and I assure you I also saw things the same way previously 😉 After I took to the challenges, I realized I can write good content(of course from my heart) within the stipulated time and it gave me a sense of pride 🙂 But then there’s no forcing anyone and you are ABSOLUTELY free to accept/reject the nomination 🙂 And BTW, I had also nominated you for a free style writing challenge 😉 and I accept rejections also *you can chill, no detention :P* and Yeah I also forget to mention, all good listeners are good lecturers also 😀 so are you & so am I 😉 You are a wonderful person, irrespective of others think 🙂
