Subset & improvement

Some say they lack beauty
Some say they lack money
Some say they lack luck
Some say they lack skills
We all see the things we lack
But we never try to highlight
The things we got and others don’t
Things that make us unique
When we were made of
Not everything was given to everyone
So we all have a subset of all the things
Our job is to figure out this subset
This subset which is us
Once we know the sunset
The job’s not done
Now the main part begins
We gotta hone the things we are made of
Evolve on it
On a regular basis
Improve by helping others
In making them known their subset
And how to improve on it
Difficult? Yes!
Impossible? May be
But the people who do not
Belong to category of “some”
In the first four lines
They CAN always do this
And can set an example
So don’t see what you lack
See what you got and can improve upon

Make this subset of yours as the superset or the universal set for others πŸ™‚
What are you trying to improve upon?

P.S. : I was occupied since days and hence couldn’t post. But weekend is always happy and here I am. Today’s song is Me & My Broken heart of Rixton πŸ˜‰ I just love it πŸ˜€

  1. Wow! This is so true Darshith. I believe what we focus our attention on, we get more of that. Therefore focusing on lack only brings more of that. So focus on what you have, be grateful for that and you will have more and more of it πŸ™‚ There’s always room for improvement, you just have to do it. πŸ˜‰

  2. Well, there is a lot to improve, yes.
But it depends on one’s willingness to do it.
If one yearn success, then it require hard work.
If one yearn for the freedom of joy, then one has to learn to let go of their worries and open their hearts to be free.
And I, I want just to improve my writing at the moment. Nothing else. πŸ™‚
