This title is from the book Go set a Watchman(sequel of To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee). It’s not my copy righted title and so don’t think of suing me 😉

But giving some extra thought to this, would you talk to Jesus or any God you worship? I am talking about a face to face conversation. They will be in the same outfit you know them and right there in front of you walking on the street. But you don’t know whether to avoid or to follow your gut and talk..

But let’s assume that you do.. What will you talk or ask?

    • I am also sad that today is the last day of Durga Puja 😦 It’s not that we should always pray on big festive days. God wants to just know that whenever you pray you pray with your heart, the occassion counts less. There is not any mistake of yours. We all are made this way. We forget God when we are happy and all is good but during dire situations we remember him and ask him for help and some guidance and when this kind of things happen, God tries to teach us a lesson by delaying his arrival to save us and hence we face loneliness and emptiness and hence our faith lessens but it should not. Once the faith remains intact, things starts to get better 🙂

      • But sometimes life become worst and we don’t able to understand what is happening where our brain and heart stop working only darkness surround us and it became very difficult to get over this darkness. And when this darkness over? No idea.

        • I get your feeling Girl.. Been there 😀 and you never when will I be again drawn toward that 😀 But just if we see the whole situation from aerial view.. There are many in more pitch black darkness than us.. Darkness surrounds us all.. But if we try to make the darkness of others dim and try to light a candle or a match stick for light to tear the darkness of others, automatically our own darkness starts fearing us and in return leaves us.. Difficult but I think that’s a way to help others and in turn help ourselves 🙂

        • Oh you’re thinking of the verdict time then 😀 Being confused about where will you go after the mortal death is a bliss because you must have done both good deeds and bad deeds and hence God can have the final say.. But let’s say you turn in the opposite direction to walk away from Him and he’s there standing smiling at you.. What will you say or do?:P

  6. I would take him to the beach and set up a special table in the sand at sunset and eat dinner together by the water, to say how grateful I am for everything I have. I would thank Him for having my back in all the tough times, for being a great listener and taking some of the load when I just couldn’t anymore. I would also have some tough questions for Him. I want to know why there is world hunger when there is so much food wasted and so many billionaires in this world. Same goes for poverty. Why are we all fighting so much and over what? Hatred has become a sport but the world needs more love and support and maybe He could help with that. I see patients who desperately want to have a child and cannot. Why is this happening when a child is a gift from God? They pray to you every day and night. And cancer…this has to stop. We really need a cure for all types of cancers because it’s starting to take over the world you created. If you know of any tricks, we could really use them because the money being spent on research is sky rocketing. We need to change our approach and that could be you. The ultimate question is about Love. When people talk about love they often talk about heartbreak and betrayal. They are two sides of the same coin but why is betrayal happening more these days? Why can’t people just get along, learn to love each other and be loyal. All types of relationships require this and I know I’ve prayed to you on this topic several times. I just want to know if I’m going to be okay. How can we stop the ego from taking over a relationship? After I got all my questions answered we would definitely have dessert at the beach. The highest calorie kind of course and an amazing coffee, this would make me feel like I am in heaven…with Him. 🙂 Sorry for such a long comment/blog 😉

    I really loved this song The Cave. I know the group well but not this song. Did you know it was filmed in Goa, India? The lyrics are amazing 🙂

  7. This is interesting. I’m not sure we will be able to stand in the presence of God Almighty. In the old days it was scary to even be visited by an angel or messenger. But I would as for an end to the suffering. And I agree with hasmeetswrites we do need the power of love. I can recommend a song here if I may regarding meeting the Creator. It’s not harsh in any way, but it asks the same question you did. The band is called Mercy Me, and the song is called “I Can Only Imagine.” Peace to you.

  8. Since I don’t believe in God, if he does appears to me then I’d be really interested to speak to him indeed! Maybe the first thing I’ll say is, “So you exist, huh?” 😛 😀
