I won’t judge
It ain’t my character
I know what it means to me
It may mean something different
To you and I would
Accept your meaning
Of music and rhythm
So don’t try to force
Your meaning onto me
And make me follow that
Different people
Different perspective
Different meanings
Even though same words
Same situation
Same feeling
And I would beg you
Don’t restrict this to music only
Respect the meanings
Of other’s words
Other’s feelings
Other’s thoughts
We express things differently
Because we feel differently
Respect the difference

  2. Different people. Different perspective. A very important message and something that many do not understand. The concept of agreeing to differ eludes many Darshith. That is the sad reality.

    And not just respect the difference, relish and enjoy it.. Because, that is what makes the world wonderful with multiple colors and not just a monochrome!!

  14. Well said 🙂 You’re right, everyone needs to respect each other in all areas, including music. 😉 We’re all doing the best we can in life and judging disconnects people. This is a great song by One Republic 🙂

  17. Once people start to respect each other and their choices n behavior and start agreeing to understand even though not agree to agree, then most of the problems will loose their exitences.
