Time waits for none

A while back I was in school

And right now I am having a job

Away from family

Away from my childhood friends

Alone in a new city

Don’t know whom to trust

All strong and brave during the whole day

And all silent and scared during the night

Sometimes taking help of tears to sleep

Sometimes not sleeping at all

Not because of internet

But because of my worries about being away from dear ones

And trying to earn some money

But money is not all

It can’t buy me happiness

It’s all about the time

Once gone, it NEVER comes back

And hence I want it to spend wisely

And not waste it anymore

Get to know more good people

And in this process, I will have to let go of some too

Those who don’t serve my purpose anymore

Those who were important back then

But not anymore

And I am grateful to each and every one of them

You gave your best when you were there

And I hope I reciprocated it well too

Now, its time to know and explore new things

So, good luck to you and to me too ❤

P.S.: FIFA WC has started since yesterday in Russia. So, it is going to be a busy next month 😀 And I have stopped biting my nails so that’s one of the best things in my life recently and even UEFA Champions League final couldn’t get my old habit back so I am proud of it 😀 How are you, people? Which team are you supporting in this FIFA WC?

  1. Wow! Money cannot buy us happiness is a very important idea, and you’ve explained that so well using your homesickness and melancholy as a tool!
    I started watching FIFA, but then got distracted by classes and other stuff! 😕
    I did get to see the UEFA final, though! Liverpool was great! What team were you rooting for? 😊

    • I do not even remember what this post was about 😂😂 I watched almost all world cup games and I was also rooting for Liverpool but my soul knew that Real would win and they did 😋 It is good to know that you’re trying to know more about football 😍 I am impressed 😋

      • 😂😂😂😂😂 that’s great! I wanted to, really, but too many engagements! I think everyone knew that RM would win, but Liverpool put up a commendable fight! I am trying to see more football, yes!

          • I don’t listen to podcasts, so I don’t think the first one I decide to hear will be a football one, sorry! College is INSANE! Apart from the frankly illegal workload we have to deal with, the hours are sure to tire you out! I’ve been surviving somehow, let’s hope this continues till I’m done with my undergraduate education!

I loved the thought that money cannot buy us happiness, and that we need to let go of some old people to move on and find new things in life. This is so enlightening! ☺💙
