A simple “Hi” leading to unsaid goodbyes..

“Hi!”

*no response*

“I am uninvited. I think you should know my arrival.”

*no response*

“Ignoring me may lead to your downfall”

*no response*

“May be you don’t think, I can visit you. You’re SO wrong!”

*no response*

“Now, get ready to suffer for neglecting me and see my fury”

*goes to doctor and does check-up*

“You may be listening to my voice for the first time because this is the first time you are paying attention and listening attentively but I was screaming and trying to let you know to get rid of me when I was innocent and a kid. Now, I have matured and I don’t intend to leave you, no matter what you do.”

*gets all nervous when the tests of check up comes as – Cancer positive*

“You will live. But for as long as I want. I am not ready to leave you because you have been a good host to me. Good because you neglected your symptoms and skipped your check ups and I was left to grow and grow I did”

*prayers and chemotherapy*

“You think you can make me weak? Good choice but you are also draining your bank account in the hope of living for some extra days but all in vain. I have knitted such a vicious web of my power that nothing can heal you. Now feel guilty for letting me grow and not killing me when in bud.”

*dies and family weeps and curse cancer*

“Curse me but I will find another reckless host and grow again. For now, feel glad that I have left. See you careless creatures soon enough”

I have written this as a tribute to how Cancer is increasing in our lives, not just the disease but also the ill feeling for someone or something. Any bad/unwanted thing which grows within us is cancer and we have to make sure that we kill it in the bud stage and not feed it, till it kills us. Ego, anger to name some. There is love.There are smiles. Spread them and feed them and life will we sweet.

stumble upon a writer..

Am I the protagonist?
In real life, may be.
In fiction, of course, who ain’t?
A normal person
Thinks the same.
But what about a writer?
What does he think?
Does he always have to sit
At a coffee shop to
Feel the plethora of ideas
Rushing to him?
Or does he have to
Dream about them
And then write
And make his dream
The dream of others
Made by the beautiful, knitted words
The world of words
Sometimes written
By a pen or typed
And in the days
When these plethora of ideas
Keep on rushing
Even though you shut your brain
You gotta take help
Of a broken pencil or even a nib
To write them
And give your ideas power
And strength to shake the world
Having the rug swept out from under your feet
Tumble you down
So that you can stumble upon a writer
Within you
And give them words
And make them shout out loud…

Justify :D

There are times when you’re expecting a long day and you’re given a holiday.

Wow! What a feeling!

There are times when you’re expecting a cake walk and it turns out to a bed of thorns(no roses for us).

Urghhh!!

There are times when things get on with the flow normally. I mean nothing unusual.

The less tension because of no expectations.

The URGHHH!! feeling hurts when it’s Friday and in the evening you get allotted some new work and it needs to be completed by the end of the day itself.

Don’t this reaction justify the name of this site Smiles here & Smiles there 😀

Evil & options..

Options are good. But options to be bad is also bad and confusing.

I won’t say  “Just Imagine” some kind of scenario and ask a remedy/solution because you may opt for stopping imagination and then it will be a waste of time for all.

This is reality. My reality. Everyone’s reality.

I want you to go to that phase of YOUR LIFE and provide your answers or some remedy.

There’s a case and you gotta decide.
Option1- You’ll become evil(to some) and others won’t want to be with you anymore. In short, 100% evil.
Option2- You’ll become evil(to some) but people will use double faces with you. In short, 20%-30% evil.
Option3- You’ll opt to die. You won’t be evil anymore because there will be no you no more.

By evil, I mean that you have to leave some important people behind in your past and make some crunch decisions.

What will you choose? Ever been into such a scenario?

Books and movies and series. What’s your hierarchy?

Are you a reader?

Good. Which book are you reading now?

Do you like to watch movies/series after reading the book?

Or the other way round?

Or, just read the book or watch the movie and never go through the counter-part?

I am one of the former and hence a lot of movies and series are lined up 😉

But, in case of Game of Thrones, I saw the series and for the sake that I couldn’t control not knowing what is to happen next, started it’s book(because waiting for just 10 episodes for a year is too boring and reading is always interesting). It’s super awesome.

RIP Packed Sunday!!

I knew a long day was ahead and it turned out to be true. My weekends are far more busy than the weekdays.

Woke late because I was watching Homeland s02 late night yesterday. Went for haircut and this present haircut is not that good and I am not liking it 😦 but my Mother is assuring me that my hairs are gonna grow big by Wednesday, but she failed to mention which Wednesday 😀

After that, went to give “Boys over flowers” series to a friend. Then after getting fresh, went to do a noble job. Donated blood for the 4th time in life. It was good and joined as a member of the Angel’s organisation who was organising the blood camp. They are a bunch of great people who do many social services far more often.

Today was also the marriage of a friend’s sister. Went their travelling 30km. It was a great time spent with him & other friends together. While handing the gift to the Bride, I mistakenly, I repeat wrongly, wished ‘Happy Anniversary!!’ 😀 and the expression on the face of the Groom was like ‘What? Are you sane, Brother!! We just got married 3 hours ago’ and it was a facepalm moment and all I could utter was ‘Camera nervousness’ 😀 Wow, now can I BE more unmindful 😉

At the back of all this India lost the match to Australia in cricket, but gave a good fight. So happy with the contest.
Travelled back home. Now infront of TV, watching a much awaited match between Manchester City & Arsenal. At half time the score is 0-1. Gunners leading, thanks to Cazorla’s corner and now they lead against the last year’s champions.

12 hours of packed schedule on a sunday 😉 I didn’t get much chance to read Pride & Prejudice also.

After the match, Carrie & Brody of Homeland will be started. And after all, getting ready to face the monday blues and hope for a good week ahead. I am sure next weekend will also be same packed as this one.
