Oh! Close your eyes!

Yeah!
To feel your thoughts
Close your eyes
Just like I did
While doing yoga
It was serene
Darkness everywhere
And then comes a ray of hope
A lingering bright light
Not willing to leave me behind
It wants my company
While it traverses throughout my body
My own body
Through my veins
My nerves
From the top of my head
Because that is where it originates
To the last cell on my toe
The entire process is experienced by me too
As I were there with that bright light
Feeling its smile and warmth
How it lit up my body parts
Winked at me when I was in awe
I smiled back
Because I knew that we were friends
And would be meeting more often
And then I opened my eyes
With the same bright smile
On my lips
Which I had in my thoughts
And life was so easy and so different
Each and every moment of the day

P.S.: Today’s song pick is Love Someone by Lukas Graham. Hello, guys! I have started going to yoga and some fitness classes and it is fun and tiring. You can share your experiences related to these to help me be prepared mentally and physically 😉 No copyrights for the image 😛

I am so happy

Presently I am reading The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. It’s a great book and I am liking it till now. Just some 40 add pages are remaining (total pages are 100) 😀

I took the bus from office to home in the evening today. I took out the book from my bag to read. I saw the bus conductor approaching, I kept the book aside, took out my wallet. What happened next was astonishing for me.

The conductor came to me and instead of taking money from me, took the book and started reading. I was stunned. You ask why? Because in India, there are very less literate people who would opt for such a profession and he was totally engrossed in the book.

He went to collect money from other passengers and again came and sat beside me reading the book. I was so happy seeing him reading the book.

I wish he could read more and have a good life just as he’s imagined for himself. He is B.A. pass (Bachelor of Arts) and due to some family issues he chose this. I gave him the book and we shook hands and at the end of my trip, we both were happy souls ❤

P.S.: Ed Sheeran’s Shape of you is my new favorite 😀 I secretly took a pic of the guy reading. Hope this is good.16144932_1184966048223110_1196503601_o

Crazy Christmas

Everyone knows December is all about celebrations, fun, and smiles. Similarly, this December of 2016 is the same for me even Christmas has not yet arrived.

I was never a believer in Santa because it all seemed fake to me. It still seems fake because of the obvious reasons like Santa is fictional. But, I realized something this Christmas, it’s the happiness which festivities bring in our lives.

In our office, we are playing Secret Santa and I was surprised to see that how Santa’s used to think OUT OF THE BOX and give several gifts to their child and make them feel happy. The smile and radiation on the face of the gift receivers was priceless. This made me realize about the true motive of Santa.

Maybe, just maybe, after going through this learning of creating happiness instead of waiting for it, made me realize that we all crave for Happiness and the more we share, the better.

I would also like to request that not to limit ourselves from spreading happiness to our near and dear ones and also look out for those who have less hope in this world and no source of happiness. If we can share some of our time with them and share quality time with them, then that’d be one of the blessed festivals for us.

Hope y’all have a great time ahead for Christmas and New year and I have started liking life more after understanding some of the many things what life is all about. Take care and see you soon ❤

P.S.: I have heard many of the Christmas songs of Michael Buble and I would like to share it. Jingle Bells by Michael Buble ❤ Happy Weekend!

I am happy that I witnessed it..

It’s so pure. The love of grandparents for the grandchildren.

Today morning, I was in a bus going to work, as regular weekdays. I was super sleepy(early morning feeling) and then I saw a kid looking at the line of vehicles at a traffic standing at the side walk. She was hardly 2 years old and probably try it understand, ‘Why so many buses?’, ‘ Why the rush?’, ‘Why the traffic?’, and what I loved the most, was her grandpa’s reaction to it.

He was a white bearded man standing there at the side walk with her, holding her hand. In fact the girl was holding the grandpa’s index finger. All the while, the grandpa was standing still and letting her feel things and analyse her thoughts. The grandpa was not rushing the kid to walk or distract her train of thoughts. On the other hand, the kid was gladly absorbing life and then decided to walk and unknowingly initiated the walk and off they went both.

What a sight it was to see the patient grandpa giving the power of present to her grandchild and the way she bossed the moment. Loved it.

Have you ever felt something so unique that brought a smile to your face and opened up a new level of love and bonding in your life?

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag!

To be true, I haven’t seen that movie nor I know what’s the status of “Milind Soman” as he runs from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, which is almost 570 km. What a guy he is! And what a guy I am, who could hardly finish 5k run(for the first time)! Yeah, you heard it right. I ran 5k this last Sunday and it was total fun.

It’s said that we have to start things for the first time, sooner or later. And so I started, started running. Sometimes from work to home at 8 PM, sometimes running around the new flat I live in with my friends, just to practice for the 5k run(the Main event).

On the event day, we left at 4:45 AM in our bikes and it was cold out there. What I love about Bangalore is its weather(mind you, this is one of the many reasons of loving this city). We lost path for a while but found one another soon and continued our journey to the event place.

On reaching, I had an expression of a big ‘O’ seeing so many participants and also seeing the Brigade Orchards(what a place it is). We warmed up. 4 teams(each team comprising of 4 members) had participated from Flutura(my new company).

2 months flashback, I left my old job and now I am at a new city, new company and without a cell phone(Unfortunately, I lost my phone and fortunately, I am away from WhatsApp and all the unnecessary chats).

Back again to present, I will buy a new phone soon, so wasting time is again going to be the headlines of my life 😀

Just so you know, I am not going to talk about the 5k run because it took me 35:55 mins to finish it. I think next time will be better 😉

I met some cool people there. The person who finished the race first was from France. He finished the race in 19:42. We danced on the latest beats and also did Zumba. It was fun and fun days are back again(Ache din!).

All I would like to share is KEEP RUNNING, if tired, KEEP WALKING but DON’T STOP. Progress is important(remember the tortoise & rabbit story).

Feel free to share some of your fun moments and let us all know about it.
