Others and us

Sometimes it feels like
We know others better
Than we know ourselves
And it feels true
And it is true too
In today’s world
We’re bombarded with so much information
We try to apply it all
Our knowledge about others
And we feel pride
That we know and sometimes
We judge others too
Not realizing
That if we would apply the same
On to ourselves
We would have become a more better person
A more understanding person
And this would lead us to more happiness
Because we would know how and what to tune in ourselves
To link to the channel of happiness
Now that we know more about others
We decide frequently
To try to find someone new
To know
To understand
And hence we keep on hoping from person to person
What would be ideal is?
Knowing thyself
Believing in us
And trying to talk
Trying to communicate
And express
And live a life of abundance

Others matters..

Pray.

Kneel down.

Not because others do.

Not because others say.

But because we believe.

We believe in Him.

If not Him, then on a higher power.

On something bigger than humans.

On some miraculously magical energy.

Trust it.

Pray for it’s increased strength

Because we derive our strength from it.

Pray for it’s increased energy

Because we derive our energy from it.

Pray with a bigger heart.

Pray not only for ourselves

But also for others.

Because we are included in others.

He will not search for us

While showering His blessings.

He will sprinkle it on us.

On all of us.

The more we pray for all.

The more He sprinkles.

The more we get.

The more you get.

The more I get.

Don’t be selfish.

Or else you will be

Standing with an umbrella

Thinking the sprinkle as dust

Or a mild hail storm

And get naught.

While others around you

Will be celebrating.

So think of others also.

Not before yourself.

But think about them.

Others matters.

May be not to you.

But to Him.

To higher energy.

And you will be blessed accordingly.

DAY 4

This is in response to Kritika’s Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge. Thank you Kritika for giving me this wonderful opportunity to express my thoughts in a different manner.

The challenge is – “Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge”

I would like to nominate Kriti for this challenge(Day 4).

That rare feeling

I didn’t feel like this

Since a very long time

And it is bad I know

Once in a while

I should feel like this

The feeling of

Churning juices

The feeling of

Craving for food

I am so damn hungry !!

Being a vegan

I can go for non Veg also

Somebody help me

Get me some food

Any food will do

And this rare feeling

Is nourished

For more frequent times

And when I look

At someone

Who are deprived of

The feeling of full stomach

And are acquainted to

The feeling of

Empty stomach

It makes me sad

How a feeling of hunger

Is rare for me

And a feeling of

Full belly is rare for them

Needing everything Is optional

But 3 times a meal

Is mandatory

And I pray to God

That we all make

It possible in

Whatever ways we can

Just trying to eradicate

The Feeling of hunger

It won’t be done

Overnight

But by the gradual

Effort of one & all

In every measure

So let’s join hands

And also share thoughts

For making it possible..

“NOT CORRECT” IS NOT “WRONG”

We all are very social in this big, yet small world of ours. We talk face to face, in phones, chats and signs also.

Whenever we do something wrong, then we feel that it was not that bad and others should understand why we did it that way. And we start trying to prove others that yes we were partially correct.
And when others do something wrong, then we judge them and try to make that person feel worse for just a mere mistake. We use WRONG words while addressing them like BLUNDER, MISTAKE..

I don’t like making the other person feel small/sad/guilty/timid when s/he does something wrong. Yes, I like to talk about it and make sure that it isn’t repeated in the future, but instead of
using the above CURSED words, I use a negation before the positive words. Like
WRONG = NOT CORRECT
BAD = NOT RIGHT

I think that using such phrases makes the person feel good and make them understand the wrong ill-doing they did and makes them inspired to make the right thing faster and easily rather than when we
use incorrect words and depress the person.

Its said that the small changes show big results. I believe that talking in such a way not only makes our tone pleasurable but also inspires other to see others mistake as their own and rather than
downing the confidence of others, work on it to build the confidence of others, which will indirectly lead you to a higher peace and satisfaction level. Using negation is optional and not using negation is satisfactory.

I believe in small changes-big difference method. Hopefully it can do some good in this big world.
