I am leading such a dull life

I realized it today

When at 7 pm I read online

That today is SPRING EQUINOX

I became so happy after a tiresome day

The words in itself brought a smile on my face

And the reason behind it is simple

I love Spring and I love Winter

So, Spring Equinox & Winter Solstice are eagerly waited

Now as the Spring has arrived

The birds will start chirping

The flowers will start blossoming

The leaves will start growing

The kids will start holidaying

The elders will start feeling the evening breeze

The farmers will start growing crops

The world will start celebrating

Wow, such a small little unimportant thing for most

Can bring brightness in my life

I am blushing with music filled in my Heart

As the Spring has arrived 🙂

Monochrome is done with,

Colors are everywhere,

I can’t envision life without it.

As colors helps us in distinguishing,

Even the things without any color defined,

can also be bright and colorful.

Try making someone happy,

Try spreading a smile,

Try giving sympathy,

Try patting someone for good,

Try praising others,

Try helping anyone,

And when you will receive the same treatment,

Think about ECHO,

It always returns to the producer,

After going distance and shouting out loud.

your good deed will have voice then.

This voice will make lives colorful,

not only yours, but also of others.

And when you color others life,

You get blessed,

Blessed for eternity,

Blessed with Peace & Freedom.

We all wear dresses that we like,

In which we look handsome, dashing,

beautiful, cool and which will suits us.

We keep a whole range of dresses in our wardrobe,

and we know we will rock in any of the robes.

Similarly, we humans are like a wardrobe.

We contain so many qualities, good, bad and ugly,

and wearing all these qualities,

we will look so much awesome,

and all these qualities comes at the cost of constant working on it,

Trying to evolve the quality and indirectly evolving yourself.

Wear these qualities and look beautiful,

So that others will like your robe so very much,

that they will themselves start wearing it.

Help others look beautiful and if they need suggestions,

Give them the best, for they’re the ones who recognize your beauty,

They deserve to be recognized also.

You never know, you may lead to the World of Narnia,

yes, distance may increase, may be sometimes universe also changes, but the quality time spent,

the pat during hug, the sharing of secret, the comfort of silence,

the wink while befooling, the sleepless nights, the knowledge sharing of love & spiritual matters,

the feeling of being a Wing-man, the feeling of making a wing-man,

the feeling of having them always beside us,

the feeling of feeling every feeling with them.

This is how some people leave prints in our lives.

They may leave, but they will always be with us.

RIP Packed Sunday!!

I knew a long day was ahead and it turned out to be true. My weekends are far more busy than the weekdays.

Woke late because I was watching Homeland s02 late night yesterday. Went for haircut and this present haircut is not that good and I am not liking it 😦 but my Mother is assuring me that my hairs are gonna grow big by Wednesday, but she failed to mention which Wednesday 😀

After that, went to give “Boys over flowers” series to a friend. Then after getting fresh, went to do a noble job. Donated blood for the 4th time in life. It was good and joined as a member of the Angel’s organisation who was organising the blood camp. They are a bunch of great people who do many social services far more often.

Today was also the marriage of a friend’s sister. Went their travelling 30km. It was a great time spent with him & other friends together. While handing the gift to the Bride, I mistakenly, I repeat wrongly, wished ‘Happy Anniversary!!’ 😀 and the expression on the face of the Groom was like ‘What? Are you sane, Brother!! We just got married 3 hours ago’ and it was a facepalm moment and all I could utter was ‘Camera nervousness’ 😀 Wow, now can I BE more unmindful 😉

At the back of all this India lost the match to Australia in cricket, but gave a good fight. So happy with the contest.
Travelled back home. Now infront of TV, watching a much awaited match between Manchester City & Arsenal. At half time the score is 0-1. Gunners leading, thanks to Cazorla’s corner and now they lead against the last year’s champions.

12 hours of packed schedule on a sunday 😉 I didn’t get much chance to read Pride & Prejudice also.

After the match, Carrie & Brody of Homeland will be started. And after all, getting ready to face the monday blues and hope for a good week ahead. I am sure next weekend will also be same packed as this one.

Insomnia of 31st night!!

Insomnia is a disease with which most people suffer. We take credit for it( I for sure do) but many believe in criticizing it and suppressing it and follow “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy & wise.”
I sleep so very less and try to make this less time more less by keeping myself engaged doing some stuff or the other. My hobbies help me achieving this goal.
On 31st night I didn’t sleep the whole night as I was partying with my cousins & friends and had a really awesome start to 2015!! Slept @7am and due to less sleep and varied hours of sleep puked whole day but never felt like taking rest.
I knew within that this was just due to lack of some sleep and it will wither and get better and so it did. Now I am again having fun with friends and enjoying this new year with vacations going on.

Come Monday and it will be again back to daily schedule of ‘morning->office->dinner->me-time->sleep’
Acquainted, but can always cherish an unknown factor of surprise hangout or party once in a while.

How was your start to the 2015? Did you keep any resolutions? I for sure haven’t 😉
We celebrate 31st night because we are happy that we were able to endure the whole of last year no matter what situations we faced.. Or because we want to welcome the coming year with a bang and want this new year to bring good and happy news always.. Or maybe BOTH!!

Winter Solstice stay a little longer!!

Wow.. Weekend.. A book on the verge of completion.. A TV series on the end of yet another season.. A year at the brink of leaving us.. and the longest night of the year.. Yes, you guessed it right.. Come Sunday night, the Winter Solstice!!

Can’t wait.. Tonight come soon and stay a bit longer!! I am reading A Clash of Kings( Game of Thrones part 2) by George R.R. Martin.. Hopefully will complete it this weekend..
I have just 3 episodes of House of Cards s 02 left to complete.. Very Thrilling and man, Kevin Spacey has done wonders in it. The plot has been great and all the characters so thrilling and the suspense also keeps you glued to the laptop screen even it’s 4 am in the morning and you gotta go to office @ 10 am next day 😀

About 2014.. As usual full of ups and downs.. Happening year..
Had a great year in work.. learnt many things and made many friends who will definitely be with me for a long time to come.
Spent great time celebrating all the festivals. Some of my friends say, that out of 365 days in a year, we Gujurati’s spend 300 days in festivals. I can’t deny it, but it may be yes 100 days. Still a big number, but our festivals and puja are of just 30 minutes per day mostly, so its not that a big deal 😉
2 of my best friends got engaged.. Congrats guys.. Do share your experience of after-marriage with me.. So that I can decide whether to follow that path at a slow pace or rush to tie knot 😀
Watched TV series.. no bigga deal..
Read many novels.. yes this is an achievement since last year..
Saw FIFA WC and very happy that Germany won and Bow to Miroslav Klose for making me feel interested in the sport since 2002 WC in which Germany was the runners-up 😦
Participated in a Flash Mob. Yes, I like dancing, so again achievement.
The best part is resumed blogging.. Sometimes I just write stuff not to post but to preserve.. Had stopped blogging for a long time and happy that I resumed writing and have plans to continue doing it for a very long time to come..
Donated blood, joined as a member of some NGOs.. I love to think that ‘Every little help counts’

Diwali is here. Where is Humanism??

A very Happy Cracking Diwali to all.

We Indians have so many festivals to look forward to every year. And then in a blink of an eye a year passes and the same festival has come again.
Diwali, the festival of crackers, fire and rejoice of return of Shri Ram to Ayodhya after 14 years of Exile, is the most celebrated festival in India.

Now what is celebration?? I am not trying to restrict your definition of Celebration here. But I am trying to share my definition of Celebration.
Lighting crackers once in a year is good and Okay. It adds a new way of enjoyment in life. But most importantly, celebrating Diwali in a safe manner is a must. Ensuring that we have fun during the festival and don’t take away the fun of “Others” also. Here the “Others” also include The Earth. We have to see to it that we don’t pollute this beautiful environment much in just this 1 day. We should not only think about ourselves, but also about the next generations and how they can preserve our Earth.

The Existence of Earth = The Existence of Us.

The most important thing is to play it safe. There can be many accidental incidents and fires and damages. So, some precaution can keep us happy for a long time.
Fire crackers and rejoice, cause that’s what Diwali stands for but with those who can’t afford buying them. And also in limited numbers and not the whole night, that it may cause trouble to the ones living in our neighborhood.

Safe Diwali = Happy Diwali.
