Game of strategy

I was nominated for 3 days Quote challenge by Jennifer 😉 She’s a wonderful writer with such inspirational thoughts and ideas that will keep you thinking. Visit her post and have the best time of your life 😀

The rules says that I have to share 1 quote per day.

I will share SOME quotes related to 1 game. The game called CHESS. Google says it was invented in India 😀 It was named “Chaturanga” 😉

FYI, I lost the game of Chess, which I played last some weeks back with my cousin. He was the author of the post : The dark side of love 🙂

You can check all the quotes here .

I have included some of them. Remember, all are related to the game of Chess.

Nominations :

Vishakha

Atharva

Pritha

P.S. : Happy tuesday 😉 If you’re a fan of Hindi music, which I am not, listen to Mora Saiyaan 🙂

  1. Okay, so let me start with my thesis. You have touched a weak nerve by writing about chess, it’s one of my favourite games. All the quotes are nice. I just have issue with the concept of this game. The King which is actually good for nothing has to be protected in the entire game, this is so irritating. I am more torturously affected when my queen dies rather than if I lose the game. I think most of the people will relate to this, you are more woebegone when your queen no longer exists than when the King is check mated. When the war takes place the King do not hide behind his soldiers, he is the attacker then why not here? The King is the most powerful but not here, why?
Anyway, I just realised most of the things weren’t related to the post. 😛

  2. Thank you for participating Darshith! 😉 These chess quotes are amazing I really like this one “You have to learn the rules of the game, and then you have to play better than anyone else.” I will check your cousin’s post too. 🙂 You’re off to a great start on Day 1 😛
